Corvette history: First year for black interiors, and a dash storage bin. Gone from 1958 were the chrome rear windstrips on the trunk lid, and the hood louvers. The base engine and options were exactly the same, the armrest were in a new position, providing just a little more interior room. 1959 was the only year to order a Turquoise convertible top.
