Corvette history: The coupe lost its split-window, and the louvered vents in hood were removed on both the coupe and convertible. The four speed stick became a very popular option to order. To distinguish from other mid-years   look at the exterior side vents (gills), two closed, and in a horizontal pattern. Steering wheels of all 1964's were a walnut grained plastic. A patriotic year: Red, White, and Blue were the most popular exterior choices.
