Corvette history:  Birth of the most desirable, obtainable Corvette ever (according to Corvette owners) was the 427/435 big block with tri-power, currently some prestine restored convertibles fetch up to $90,000 on the market. Many  "luxury" items became standard features like rally wheels, odometer, tachometer, vinyl fomed filled buacket seats, carpeting, and clock. Redline tires were a flashy option. This was the last year of the C2 mid year Corvettes, you can easily tell it from the others by the 5 side, open vertical louver gills. A special feature of the "big block" 427 1967 Vettes was the stinger on the hood, usually in a contrasting color.
