Corvette history:  First year for the long running 350 cubic inch engine. Sting Ray became Stingray  (one word) and appear over the 4 vertical side gills -- this is an easy way to tell it from the 1968. Coupes were 1st offered in 1963, and this is the 1st year that coupes outsold convertibles. In 1969 the ignition switch was mounted on the column versus the dash.
